Rick Ross has reunited with Tyler, The Creator at his Georgia car show after having previously tried to sign the latter to his Maybach Music label.
The MMG leader took to Instagram to commemorate the moment and was seen standing side by side with the Igor hitmaker.
“Y’all know he on some 2030 bullshit,” Rozay said of Tyler. “Y’all know what’s going on. Been fly. My homie flew me out to L.A. how many years ago that was?”
“Bout seven,” Tyler chimed in.
“Seven years ago, that’s when I saw how he had all that shit set up it was next level. We here, y’all know what it is.”

Rick Ross had previously wanted to sign Tyler back in 2011. In an interview with Complex, Diamond Supply Co. founder Nick Diamond said Tyler was a hot commodity at the time, and that Rozay was just one of many parties interested in the “Yonkers” rapper.
“Rick Ross called me out of nowhere and was like, ‘Yo, what’s up with Odd Future? I wanna talk to that Tyler kid. I want to sign him,’” Diamond told Complex. Tyler was apparently next to Diamond, but didn’t want anything to do with the rap mogul.

“I was like, ‘Rick Ross wants to talk to you,’” Diamond remembered. “Tyler goes, ‘I don’t want to talk to Rick Ross.’ I was like, ‘Dude, just fucking talk to him.’ He was like, ‘Nah. I can’t talk right now.’ So I didn’t put him on the phone.”
While Rozay’s car show, located on his Promise Land estate, went off without a hitch, drama consumed the event in the weeks leading up to it. Rick Ross and DJ Envy began trading serious jabs at one another last week after the MMG mogul took a swipe at the Breakfast Club co-host during his interview on Drink Champs, declaring he was “never on my level” when it comes to hosting car shows.
After light jabs were exchanged, things quickly became personal when Rick Ross dragged DJ Envy’s family into the feud, requesting he and his girlfriend and children clean his swimming pool.
“DJ Envy, you just gave me a good idea. I just told the people who are coming to clean up my pool to hold on ’cause I said Envy and his seven sons can come over here, y’all can handle this pool for the pool party, July 2nd,” he taunted in an Instagram Story video.
“And Envy, out of respect and love for you, that part of the pool, I’m saving that just for yo girlfriend and her lil’ baddies. DJ Envious, you just started a pool cleaning service. ‘Cause you got a job, you work. I’m kinda confused — you talking to a boss and you got a job that you gotta report to. Don’t get fired by that white man!”
Envy fired back earlier this week by donning a police uniform and doing an “Officer Ricky” impression on The Breakfast Club, taking shots at Ross’ past stint as a correctional officer, which has remained a contentious point of discussion throughout his career.
